Available optional measurement modules for VAROS 107 and 107 Optic.
The portable TV analyzer VAROS 107 hardware platform, as with AMA 310, allows you to add additional modules. This means that even for older devices following the installation of optional modules new or modified measurement modes are possible.
The available hardware options for VAROS 107/107 optic:

DOCSIS 3.1 modem.
The activation of DOCSIS 3.1 changes the technology. Until DOCSIS 3.0, the transponders resemble a CATV channel. The DOCSIS 3.1 signals are OFDM modulated and can reach a bandwidth up to 192 MHz. Everything is different.
The new modem is down compatible. It can bond up to 32 downstreams and 16 upstreams with DOCSIS 3.0. 2 down and 2 upstreams are supported in DOCSIS 3.1. It is important that the broadband OFDM channels can not be measured with any DOCSIS 3.0 modem.

Accessories
Carrying bag with straps.
The accessory bag for the VAROS 107 is really handy. In addition to the sturdy body to protect the test receiver from falling damage, the bag also has a dust and splash protection film. This can be easily removed if necessary.
All device connections can of course be reached even when the carrying bag is closed.
