KM 06: Compact measuring device for installation and troubleshooting of coaxial distribution systems.
When new buildings are professionally installed or renovated, the construction of the antenna system is often a fixed part of the electrical installer’s contract. And the specialist is expected to provide a solid signal transmission quality—the basis for years of service and maintenance work. This requires a measuring instrument with an attractive price/performance ratio, which is easy to use and reliable in its accuracy. For this, the KM 06 from KWS is required.
In the designing of the KM 06, various useful operating aids have been incorporated (e.g. the SAT Assistant) to facilitate the work of users less experienced in antenna technology.
The various measured values and graphics are vividly displayed on the 7-inch TFT touch display. The capacitive touch display is also used to operate the KM 06—simply, clearly and intuitively. The keys have therefore been deliberately omitted. The crisp presentation of the TV image should not be forgotten as this is what the customer wants to see.
In short: a compact combo antenna meter for the user who wants to obtain reliable results quickly and easily.
The stylish and robust housing is equipped with sturdy bumpers while remaining lightweight—ideal for use on the construction sites.
Configuration library ASTRA
Attention! Please do not open in Excel or other Spreadsheet application, because then there can occur errors regarding the file format!
For loading the configuration into the device, you have to copy the files CONF.CSV, SAT.CSV and TER.CSV into the root directory of an USB-Stick. Afterwards load the configuration of the default library and lists into the device via Configuration and import Configuration.

DVB-C measurement
Simple and clear: everything in view on a single display.
Detailed indication of all important measured values and insertion of the corresponding transponder into the evaluation unit/analyzer.
Evaluation of the measurement by means of colored display of the measured values (traffic light principle red/yellow/green).
DVB-T check
Display of three DVB-T2 transponders and one DVB-T transponder with indication of the individual services/programs.
The signal quality of each transponder is also displayed in traffic light principle for a quick overview.
Library
The library (setting memory) can be filled by the user himself according to his own ideas. It is used for the installation of the antenna system and forms the basis for logging.
The library consists of 50 individual banks and thus offers enough space for all combinations.

Spectrum
The analyzer measures the entire system to get an overview of it.
It records the complete frequency range of a band (e.g. ASTRA vertical/low band).
Interferences and skewed positions can be identified without any problem, since the chip can be changed in several steps.
TV picture presentation
Demonstration at the customer’s site.
Display of the current TV signal of any station.
Proof of system functionality.
